AND HIS KATRINA KISS-MY-ASS ORCHESTRA

WITH A BEVY OF BEAUTIES

For Immediate Release

Comic Relief, in recognition of the 25th anniversary of Andy Kaufman’s departure, presents “The Return of Tony Clifton”, with his Katrina Kiss-My- Ass Orchestra. This national tour benefits Gulf Coast musicians, dancers, singers and production personnel affected by Hurricane Katrina.

International singing sensation Tony Clifton fronts the Orchestra, which is made up of 10 cutting edge Gulf Coast musicians, along with The Cliftonettes, 8 sexy, talented backup singers/dancers.

This is in continuation of Comic Relief’s commitment to support artists affected by Hurricane Katrina, offering up viable employment opportunities to these talented artists. Along the way, they acquire new skills and experience many different aspects of the entertainment industry in venues such as theatres, nightclubs, and concert arenas in major cities throughout the United States.

Most importantly, this national exposure reminds the public of the unique and important cultural treasures of New Orleans.

For over 20 years, Comic Relief’s mission has been to unite the comedy community behind some of society’s most relevant causes and pressing needs. Comic Relief wants to thanks Mr. Clifton for continuing to help Gulf Coast musicians further their dreams by his triumphant return.
