Ever wonder where your gift to Red Nose Day goes?

Take a look at how your support is helping end child poverty in Puerto Rico and changing lives:

In Puerto Rico, 6 out of 10 children are facing hunger, and more than 1 in 3 children are facing extreme poverty. The devastation of Hurricane Maria, a number of earthquakes, and various social issues have made recovery hard for many families.

But thanks to your support, Red Nose Day and our partners are committed to addressing relief efforts in Puerto Rico, and making sure children have everything they need to thrive.

Earlier this year, we visited Banco de Alimentos Puerto Rico — a Feeding America affiliated Food Bank, to see how your donations are helping families in need. The facility serves non-profit organizations and churches that come to the food bank to request food for their communities. It also funds a “Happy Backpack” program that provides a backpack full of food for children to take home on the weekends when they don’t have access to food at school. Ending child poverty in Puerto Rico is a community effort, and we are proud to be supporting these efforts with help from donors like you!

Right now, in the midst of the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19, the work of organizations like Banco de Alimentos Puerto Rico is more important than ever.

Please consider making a donation to help children in the United States, Puerto Rico, and around the world.
